How to send and receive a Touch?

Before you start, make sure your bracelet is:

  • Fully charged

  • Within 10 ft (3 m) of your phone

  • Bluetooth enabled, with the Bond Touch app running in the background

  • Connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data

Bond Touch 4 and Bond Touch 4 POP

Sending a touch:

  1. Double-tap your bracelet to wake it up β€” it will light up white.

  2. Tap and hold to create your pattern (up to 10 taps). The bracelet lights up and vibrates as you tap, then sends automatically.

You have 2 seconds after waking the bracelet to start tapping before it goes back to sleep. A blinking white light means you've reached the 10-tap limit.

Receiving a touch: Your bracelet will vibrate and light up in your partner's chosen colour. Make sure your phone is connected to the internet and the app is running in the background.

Bond Touch Mini

Sending a touch:

  1. Press the module for 1 second.

  2. You will feel a 1-second vibration confirming the touch was sent.

  3. Your partner receives a fixed pattern of 3 vibrations over 2 seconds β€” this is the same regardless of which device your partner is using.

Bond Touch Mini has one pre-defined touch pattern. You can assign a meaning to it in the app, but the vibration pattern itself cannot be changed.

Sending via the app (Mini paired with BT4 or Bond Touch Lite): If your partner has a Bond Touch 4 or Bond Touch Lite, you can also send different touch patterns directly through the app β€” each with its own meaning. Touches sent from the device itself will always follow the fixed Mini pattern.

Receiving a touch: Your Mini will always vibrate with the fixed 3-vibration pattern, regardless of which device your partner is using.

Bond Touch Lite (Apple Watch / Wear OS)

Sending a touch: Tap your smartwatch screen in the Bond Touch Lite app. You can send short sequences of taps to create your own touch language.

Receiving a touch: Your watch will vibrate. Make sure the Bond Touch Lite app is open or running in the background and your watch is connected to your phone.

Tracking your touches

On the app's home screen you can see if your touch was successfully sent or received. Your last 6 touches are shown on the dashboard. For the full touch history, go to Private Space β€” tap the icon at the bottom of the app.
