Sending and receiving a touch

How to send or receive a touch message.

Updated over a week ago

To send your touch, you need to make sure that:

  • Your Bond Touch is charged

  • Your Bond Touch is within 10 ft (3 m) of your phone

  • Your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled and it’s either connected to the wifi or cellular network

  • The app is running in the background of your phone

Now, just double-tap your Bond Touch to wake it up. It will light up in white.

Tap and hold your Bond Touch to send any rhythm or pattern you want, up to 10 different taps at a time. Your Bond Touch will light up in your color and vibrate as you touch it. Once you’re done, it will light up on your partner’s Bond Touch too.

If you reach your 10 tap limit, your Bond Touch will display a blinking white light.

Note: Once you wake up your Bond Touch to send a message, you have 2 seconds to start tapping. After that, to save battery, it goes back to sleep again.

Receiving a touch is simple! Once your partner sends a touch through their bracelet, you will momentarily receive one on your own bracelet. Just keep in mind that you'll need to make sure your connected to the internet and your bracelet is connected via Bluetooth.

On your app Home screen you can see if your message was successfully delivered or received:

The last successfully sent and receive touch will always show first on the bottom section of the Bond Touch dashboard.

You can also tap on any touch on your touch history to see when it was delivered or received successfully.

You may also see an expanded version of your touch history by heading into private space (tap on the private space icon on the top right corner).

Your touch history will appear on the Private Space feed, together with other content you send and receive with your partner, as seen below.
