If you're not receiving your authentication SMS after entering your phone number during setup here's what you can do:
Check if the phone number you entered (including the country calling code) is correct.
Always enter your phone number as if you were calling from outside the country. Some countries' phone numbers have weird rules when you’re reaching out to them from outside the country. Australia is an example: when you enter your phone number to receive a confirmation code, you have to remove that extra '0' included in your STD area code or mobile phone number.
Check if your carrier hasn’t disabled Short Code messages on your account. Carriers like T-Mobile may disable the receiving of Short Code messages by default. Should this be the case, contact your respective carrier and inform them that you would like to start receiving Short Code messages.
