Bond Touch Lite Not Loading After Switching Phones

Step-by-step guide to reconnect Bond Touch Lite on Wear OS and Apple Watch after switching to a new phone.

If you've recently switched to a new phone and Bond Touch Lite is stuck on the loading screen or not working as expected, don't worry — this is a common issue that happens because the app on your watch loses its connection to the Bond Touch app on your previous phone.

Follow the steps below for your watch type to get everything reconnected.

Wear OS

Step 1 — Re-pair your watch to the new phone

The watch is still trying to communicate with your old phone's app. To fix this:

  1. Install the Wear OS by Google app on your new phone.

  2. Open it and follow the steps to pair your watch to the new phone.

Step 2 — Reinstall Bond Touch on your new phone

  1. Install the Bond Touch app from the Google Play Store on your new phone.

  2. Log in with the same account you used previously.

  3. Open the app at least once before trying on the watch.

Step 3 — Clear the app cache on your watch

Old connection data from your previous phone may be causing conflicts.

  1. On your watch, go to Settings → Apps → Bond Touch → Storage → Clear Cache.

  2. Relaunch the app.

Step 4 — Reinstall the app on your watch (if needed)

If the issue persists after the steps above:

  1. Uninstall the Bond Touch app from your watch.

  2. Reinstall it via the Play Store on your watch or through the Wear OS app on your new phone.

  3. Open the app and make sure it's connected to the Bond Touch mobile app before sending a touch.

In most cases, completing Steps 1 and 2 will resolve the issue.
