Saved Places and arrival notifications are two features within Presence + that help you stay connected through the moments that matter most.
What are Saved Places?
Saved Places are locations you set up inside the Bond Touch app — like Home, Work, School, or anywhere else that matters to you and your partner. They’re shared between both of you, and you can give each one a name, an icon, and a category to make them easy to recognise.
How to add a Saved Place
Open the Bond Touch app and go to the Presence + section.
Choose how to add your place:
Search for an address.
Use your current location.
Pin a spot on the map.
Give it a name.
Select a category and icon.
Set your notification preferences.
Save the place.
Arrival notifications
Because Saved Places are shared between both of you, either partner can trigger an arrival notification. When one of you arrives within the area of a place (roughly 75–100 metres), the other will receive a push notification on their phone and a haptic vibration on their bracelet in that place category’s color.
For arrival notifications to work reliably:
Location sharing must be turned on in Presence +.
The Bond Touch app should be allowed to access your location in the background (see How to set up Presence + for permission steps).
Push notifications must be enabled for the Bond Touch app on your device.
Managing and deleting Saved Places
Either partner can add, edit, or delete Saved Places at any time from within the Presence + section of the app. Saved Places are stored until you or your partner delete them, or until your account is deleted.
Changing the address or location of a place
The address and geographic location of a place cannot be edited once it’s been created. If you need to move a place to a different location:
Create a new place with the correct address.
You can reuse the same name, category, and icon.
Delete the old place once the new one is set up.
A note on your data
Bond Touch processes arrival event information to trigger notifications. This data is kept for a limited period to support feature reliability. Your Saved Places data is retained until you delete it or delete your account. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
