Saved Places let you and your partner mark the locations that matter to both of you — like home, work, or a favorite spot — so you’ll each be notified when the other arrives there.
Places are shared between both partners
Saved Places work like Touch Meanings — they are mutual and shared between both of you. Either partner can create, edit, or delete a place.
Creating a place
To add a new Saved Place, open the Presence + section in the Bond Touch app and select the option to add a place. You'll be asked to:
Open the Bond Touch app and go to the Presence + section.
Search for an address.
Use current location.
Pin a place on the map.
Give a name
Select a category and icon
Configure notification preferences
Save the place
The map uses Apple Maps on iOS and Google Maps on Android.
Editing a place
After a place is created, you can edit the following at any time:
Name
Category
Icon
Arrival notification — on or off
Each place has its own notification toggle, so you can choose which places trigger an arrival alert and which don’t.
Changing the address or location of a place
The address and geographic location of a place cannot be edited once it’s been created. If you need to move a place to a different location:
Create a new place with the correct address.
You can reuse the same name, category, and icon.
Delete the old place once the new one is set up.
Location accuracy and background behaviour
Presence + uses your device’s geofencing (a radius of roughly 75–100 metres) to detect when you arrive at a Saved Place, rather than continuous GPS — so it has minimal impact on your battery. The app can work in the background, though arrival detection may not always be immediate depending on your device’s power management settings.

What happens to Saved Places if we unbond?
If you and your partner break your bond, all Saved Places will be lost and cannot be recovered. They don’t carry over if you rebond — you’d need to create them again from scratch.
