Presence + subscription – What you need to know

Presence + requires an active subscription to use. Here’s everything you need to know about how it works.

Each person needs their own subscription

Presence + subscriptions are individual — one per user, not per couple. This works the same way as Bond Touch Lite (our Apple Watch app). Both you and your partner need an active subscription for the feature to work between you.

What happens if only one of us subscribes?

If only one partner has an active Presence + subscription, they’ll be able to see the map and create places — but nothing will be shared with their partner. Both subscriptions need to be active for precise location sharing and mutual Saved Places to work.

What happens to Presence + if we unbond and rebond?

If you and your partner break your bond, the following cannot be recovered:

  • All Saved Places

Saved Places do not carry over when you rebond — you’d need to recreate them from scratch. Your subscriptions themselves are not affected by unbonding; they continue independently.

Managing your subscription

Your Presence + subscription is managed through the app store (iOS or Android). You can also find a manage subscription button inside the Bond Touch app, which will take you straight to your store profile.
